Our thesis: cross-border B2B payments are being rebuilt for a world where software — not just people — moves money. Borderless rails (stablecoins) plus local on/off-ramps win the settlement layer. But settlement is being commoditized to zero. The durable business is the layer above it: identity, policy, audit, and tax compliance for every actor that touches a payment — human or agent.

8os is that layer, starting with the deepest trade corridor in the world: US–Mexico. USDC in, SPEI out, wrapped in an Org→User→Agent identity hierarchy, a policy engine that enforces rules pre-settlement, hash-chained audit trails, and CFDI-native billing. Non-custodial by architecture — we orchestrate regulated rails without ever taking deposits, which means we scale without inheriting a money transmitter’s licensing burden before we need to.

The incumbents monetize spread and float; they can’t sell transparency without cannibalizing themselves. We monetize software. Natural is building this for domestic US fiat. 8os is building it globally, on stablecoins, with local rails — from Guadalajara, at the center of the nearshoring wave.
